Today, I get to share my love for painting stories with Ellen and her husband.

When she first messaged me of wanting commissioned pieces, I was shell-shocked. Then flustered and at one point panicky, I tell you this was not an overreaction. 😅

Then when it sank in, I was kilig to have someone appreciate my art.

So, we went on bouncing concepts, ideas, and options back and forth—-I was a bit coy in pushing my ideas and pegs but in the end, Ellen graciously allows me to have the creative freedom for the three-piece panels.

Initially, we opted for floral letters and one image...but as we go about our usual late night PM and DMs...she shared her excitement of building their dream house and raising a family. So I choose to paint facades of old houses, it reminded me of a feeling of belongingness.

Framing was a bit of a challenge, I am such a noob😅 but glad I pulled it through.

Thank you, Ellen, for the opportunity and for the love.💖
